Once the NHSBSA have approved your emc in-demand submission and the effective date has passed, the NHSBSA will update the dm+d database. The NHSBSA add new data to the dm+d database on a daily basis, as they approve submissions. The NHSBSA only release this information to emc med data on a weekly basis. So once a submission has been approved by the NHSBSA, there can be a delay of up to 5 working days before it can be viewed on emc med data.
emc med data is located at https://meddata.medicines.org.uk/. Click on the search box ath the top of the page, then enter your product name (trade name or generic name) or company name. Click on a product card to see the detailed dm+d entry for your chosen product.
Please note that the dm+d database is an extensive database and includes not only your available products, but also discontinued products, clinical trial products and imports. Once a product has been assigned a unique code, the entry is not deleted and so products can be seen which are not currently available. Discontinued products are hidden by default in emc med data searches, but can be enabled using the filter on the left hand side of the page. These are then highlighted with red 'discontinued' text.
